Update 9:31 p.m. Tornado warnings continue for Anderson, Brown, Clay, Coffey, Dickinson, Douglas, Franklin, Geary, Jackson, Jefferson, Lyon, Marshall, Morris, Nemaha, Osage, Ottawa, Pottawatomie, Riley, Shawnee, Wabaunsee and Washington Counties until 11 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

Update 9:24 p.m. The National Weather Service has issued severe thunderstorm warnings for Coffey and Osage Counties that will be in effect until 10 p.m.

Update 9:18 p.m. The National Weather Service issued severe thunderstorm warning for Marshall, Nemaha and Pottawatomie Counties until 9:45 p.m.

Update 8:55 p.m. The National Weather Service has issued severe thunderstorm warning for Brown, Jackson, Nemaha, Riley and Pottawatomie Counties until 9:30 p.m.

This warning is in effect until 8:30 p.m.

Update 8 p.m. The National Weather Service has issued severe thunderstorm warnings in Jackson, Marshall, Nemaha and Pottawatomie Counties until 8:30 p.m. A tornado warning for Dickinson County until 8:15 p.m.

Update 7:52 p.m.The National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning for Dickinson County until 8:15 p.m. and Pottawatomie County until 8 p.m. Severe thunderstorm warnings have been issued for Cloud, Ottawa and Republic counties until 8:30 p.m.

Update 7:38 p.m. The National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning for Dickinson, Riley and Pottawatomie Counties until 8 p.m. Monday, May 8. KSNT 27 Chief Meteorologist Matt Miller said the storm is in Manhattan.

Update 7:19 p.m. The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning in Clay, Geary, Marshall, Morris Pottawatomie, Wabaunsee and Washington Counties until 7:45 p.m.

Update 6:55 p.m. The National Weather Service has issued severe thunderstorm warnings for the following NE Kansas counties: Clay, Dickinson, Geary, Marshall, Morris, Ottawa, Riley and Washington. This warning will be in effect until 7:45 p.m. 27 News Meteorologist Gabriella Gomez said this warning comes with the possibility of one inch hail and 60 miles per hour wind.

Update 6:46 p.m., The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a tornado warning for Dickinson County. It will be in effect until 7:15 p.m.

Update: The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued severe thunderstorm warnings for Clay, RIley and Washington Counties until 7 p.m. Monday, May 6.

TOPEKA (KSNT) – The National Weather Service (NWS) announced a tornado warning in a northeast Kansas County.

At 6:24 p.m., the NWS has cancelled the tornado warning for Clay County, but the warning is still issued for Washington County until 6:30 p.m.

At 5:59 p.m. Monday, May 6, The NWS has issued a tornado warning for Clay and Washington Counties. The warning is in effect until 6:30 p.m. This tornado warning comes with threats of a tornado and pea-sized hail, according to the NWS.

The following tornado watches are active until 11 p.m. on May 6: Brown, Clay, Cloud, Coffey, Dickinson, Geary, Jackson, Jefferson, Lyon, Marshall, Morris, Nemaha, Osage, Pottawatomie, Riley, Wabaunsee and Shawnee Counties.
