Hunterdon Healthcare adds 2 to board of trustees

RARITAN TWP. - Hunterdon Healthcare announced the addition of Dr. Roseann Peluso Nguyen and Dr. K.C. Rondello to the Hunterdon Healthcare System board of trustees.

Rondello trained at Yale University School of Medicine and Saint George's Medical School in the United Kingdom. He currently serves as the clinical associate professor in the College of Nursing and Public Health at Adelphi University in Garden City, New York.

Previously, he served as the associate director of Saint Barnabas Health Care System's Center for Healthcare Preparedness. Since December 2002, Rondello has served as a disaster epidemiologist with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' National Disaster Medical System.

Now assigned to the Multi-Specialty Enhancement Team, he is a member of the federal response organization tasked with providing critical emergency medical support to regions of the country overwhelmed by disaster.

In this capacity, Rondello collaborated with the CDC's Division of Global Migration and Quarantine (Newark Branch) in developing an international isolation contingency plan in response to the 2009 H1N1 influenza pandemic.

Other recent deployments have included dispatch to Hurricanes Gustav, Hanna and Ike (2008), the Great Tennessee Flood (2010) and Superstorm Sandy (2012).

Peluso-Nguyen received her doctor of pharmacy from Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science and her undergraduate pharmacy degree from Rutgers College of Pharmacy.

She completed her drug information residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.

Peluso-Nguyen has been employed by Johnson and Johnson for 18 years in roles of increased responsibility spanning across Marketing, Medical Affairs, Health Economics and Outcomes Research, Account Management and Market Access.

She currently is the Director of Institutional Business, where she is responsible for leading a team of strategic account directors in the northern region of the U.S. and accountable for the entire portfolio of pharmaceutical business in the institutional business channels for health systems, hospital GPOs, Federal business and long term care.

Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson, Peluso-Nguyen worked in academia at Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, hospital pharmacy at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and as a consultant and Vice President for a managed markets consulting organization.

She is a member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy and the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists.

She is clinically trained as a pharmacist and experienced working across multiple therapeutic categories such as Immunology, Cardiovascular, Metabolism, Oncology and CNS.

Her areas of expertise include organizational leadership, health economics and outcomes research, market access, strategic marketing and medical information and communications.
